There is a simple guiding force in the universe many agree which draws us to our "Destiny". That force, or energy, or God is what acts as a magnet. Some believe it's "Him" upstairs, others concur it is the energy either being attracted or repelled by the flowing beams of goodness (energy) that run through us like a river of electricity.
I've experienced that doing something I hate makes for great stories and amazing venting monologues, but isn't very enthralling for the rest of the world. Who cares, it's my party and I'll cry if I want to.
My spirit was crushed today.
I'll play my violin for you: I am taking 6 full time Masters courses and am smack in the middle of moving, with a pregnant wife, and was unemployed until I was asked to be a substitute teacher (just for two weeks) for my landlord's middle school. A substitute is pretty much a warm body (preferably breathing) to stand in front of a class to make sure the students are alive for the next class. In a middle school, you are meat for the beast, because many of these kids don't respect or give a shit about their regular teachers. So a "sub" is worth less than the filth on their brand new sneakers, that they cannot afford but so many have.
There is a dark feeling inside me that wants to be away from these little monsters. Most look unloved, and uncared for, and it's sad. But I am in a different position now, as soon I'll be a Dad, come April 29th '09. I am proud, excited, thrilled and honored, and now biased. I used to feel for these kids left behind, because they will be. Maybe not in every class room, but the world will forget about them. It's just nature.
My priority is my son and my wife.
If I was not born into the family I had been, way back in 1972, I would be one of these sad and lonely children.
But I still find myself wanting to be away from them. The angry middle school shadows of the future.
I am not enjoying this, can't you tell?
I was not like this when I was a student as a child. I was respectful, and quiet. I did my work and I went home.
I also did/ do not understand the loud, dumb, acting out... I have no patience for it, nor am I sympathetic. They are animals...they were when I was a kid and they still are. The public school, loud, smelly, obnoxious, damaged babies that parents messed up.
I am damaged too in my own way. But at least I was/ am quiet.
Yesterday, I asked my wife and she said she loves going to work everyday. She loves it. My colleague said she too loves her job. They both collectively have over 15 years experience teaching. I'm glad they love it. Somebody has to.
I am just having very negative thoughts and feelings and I can't always "leave it home" I'm either to weak, or too sensitive. That is who I am. So what? Who Cares?
The day seemed to drag on, and on and on. As though there was no end. The smiling, cackling, devious, brats just talked and talked and talked. I had to go to places in my mind where I found comfort and security, because yes, I wanted to kill them.
I went to lunch with my colleague; we went to get Mexican food at a nice place around the corner from the school.
Exhausted and defeated, and ready to go home (I'm a wimp and I don't care), I ordered my burrito lunch special and went to sit down at the table where my colleague chose for us to sit.
I sat down, sipped my diet coke, and saw a familiar face staring back at me from the printed table cloth.
It was a Mexican poster of Spiderman, reaching right toward me. Bright red and blue! It was like seeing an old friend...
I did look around the entire eatery. Just in case I was reaching. Not a single superhero did I see anywhere other than directly in front of me.
Is it a sign? I hope so. And I'll take it. Whatever it means.
You only have one life to live....
...so please....
.......Do what you love...
the world will be a better place for it.
have a great sunny Spring....
w/ love-
G.

Injection of Purity
O.k. well, it's been a while since I've opened my mouth, or my key board, and it's time. I'm stealing a moment out of my busy day to spew shit. I don't care about the politically correct crap anymore....I'm using curse words to emphasize my unhappiness. I'm not going to be vulgar, but I am not going to worry if I am perceived as a low brow. Heheh.
We have the inauguration of Obama. It's done, let's move on. No one expects him to make things perfect, because none of us have direct experience with working in government, however just try to get something organized at your job. I was a teacher for 5 years and just to choose a place to have the end of year party was like rearranging the socioeconomic foundations of Bulgaria. Who f-ing cares? Just eat your meatballs and chicken franchese and shut your mouths. (love you all)
There is no one way to make things better in this country and Bush did what he could, ebedeeebedee (Porky Pig stuttering) - which was nothing really. Clinton got a hummer and messed up the mortgages because the loan companies were greedy mother-f-ers that didn't care about the outcome. Nice job Bill.
It's all just greed. That's the bottom line people. It's not enough in this country to make millions of dollars, but we need to make more and more and more. Yeah , the government rapes us openly, but we're free. Right? Go do something free today- baaaaaaaaaaaa- sheep. That's it. I am too. I love it. Just give me my wife & son, family & friends, shelter, movies and time to draw and I am the richest man on earth. Well, that is if my pregnant wife keeps working. (Love you honey, and thank you).
America is headed toward being a third world country because of the desire to have more than we need. I'm not saying that people that work hard shouldn't have cool stuff to take the edge off, but look at where we are. In a pile of poop and we've been given a knife, fork and napkin and freedom.
We pay for everything is this country, so don't think for a second that you're free. I'm not a liberal, or a democrat, or a republican, or progressive - I'm a human being who lives here, and it's getting to me. No one should be free if we have to bail out the money hungry demons that went after the bottom line so ferociously, that they need "our" help. Are you mother-f-ing-kidding me?
If Clinton messed up, o.k. he did...Bush could've changed it. If Obama can't fix it (it's going to take decades people....not a year or three) then he can step aside too. Who messed up before Clinton - more Bush. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm sick of Bush. And Clinton wasn't man enough to resist an ugly little plump intern. Pathetic - even if he was just a truck driver.
Who was before Old Bush..? We can go back as far as we want... it's all still chicken soup no matter how you spice it. It'll basically tastes the same.
The human condition is just dumb. We're animals that think they are superior because we can "make choices" and we have organized religion. Well, when that garbage takes over your life and it makes you hate people and hurt people, it's trash, throw it out. I don't care what the organized thing is...if it evolves to where your fellow human is being hurt by it, IT IS WORTH NOTHING.
Don't give me that civilization is created because of survival needs and the evolving "higher" primate awareness of it's self. Mooooo-shit! It's fodder. And you know it.
If you've read this far, then you really are something special, because I would have stopped after the first sentence, but that's just because I have no attention span, and I am too dumb to understand politics. I may have read further because I wanted to see what else was going to be said. So for the interested free human reading this far.....here you go.
That Angelina look alike c-word who has the fourteen kids: Take her by the legs, and take the legs of the doctor who gave her the hormones and smash their heads together. What ever bloody goop that is left on the floor is still higher in intelligence than she is or the doctor. She is a criminal, and so is he. Yeah yeah - you're feeling bad for her? Don't. She is sick and she is stealing from the hard working civilians in this country. She is an abomination, and must be stopped. She is like a mini-Binladen! Take a look at her on youtube. She has had injections in her ugly lips and her ugly nose was shrunken to look like an ugly Angelina Jolie. Her mother is now burdened with this God Damned tragedy. I'm having a kid this year - the only good thing in my life next to my wife and my family (both sides). I've been laid off and my wife works while she is pregnant. I am a canyon full of anxiety because I want to make sure my son has a decent life. This mother (f---er) of fourteen is a child abusing cretin. She is what is wrong with this country (among other things). They aren't pets, they aren't toys - they are human beings who are going to grow up believing that this is an acceptable and appropriate behavior and life culture. It is not. Period. Oh and for the record I HATE the Duggans (a family with 18 kids and counting - on cable) and I'm not too thrilled with John and Kate plus eight (who had beautiful twin girls and took hormones and had six-tuplets - I spelled it purposely that way so relax). John and Kate are very Christian too - well if you couldn't get pregnant maybe God didn't want you to you assholes!
Yeah - that's normal. That's good for an over populated earth. No worries, I'm sure there'll be another war coming soon and the population will thin out again. Or a disease will be tested by being released into the general population to see it's effects. Yay!
If you have no children and want some, then yes do what you have to, but when you have children, and they are not cared for sufficiently, you strip society. I saw a woman on Super Nanny who had ten kids and it was her dream to have twleve. The ten she had were in turmoil, hence being on Super Nanny, or is it Nanny 911, the show with the British chick with the glasses. It's on channel - 7.
The reason big families existed decades ago (I mean long ago, not in the 80's knuckle head) was because child labor was needed to keep the family going, and also because out of ten kids a third usually DIED. So you had to push out puppies to beat the death curve.
Oh and I don't think they're cute either. They're people....who you think will grow up feeling special because tv cameras are in their faces, and they're not (special that is).
O.k. then I saw: On the cover of a New York news paper it said A-hole. A-rod who is Alex Rodriguez admitted or it was found that he took steroids to perform better at his job. Um, who f-ing gives a shit!? Um, don't they sell Viagra, Cealis and Levitra so we can perform in the bedroom? And most of us don't get paid for that. Doesn't coffee affect how we produce in a lame job in front of a computer? And we aren't being filmed or doing our expected job in front of tens of thousands of people (at the stadium and on tv), usually millions?
What about sugar? We consume this stuff because o.k., yeah it tastes good, but we know that is makes us sharper, or helps us with our creativity. Even if it's "organic" (pussy's - I do it too, relax -heehee).
We even go in the opposite direction when we are at a party, we (not everyone of course captain defensive - generally speaking) use alcohol to relax us in social situations, and to be more relaxed after a long day of life?
So put every one of those baseball players into that hall of fame, or I'll bite your knee caps so bad, you'll weep like a hungry infant. Beause those guys were doing their job, and making gobs of cash doing it. There is no honor in a capitalist society. And let Pete Rose in. He gambled on baseball. Against his team, o.k. Who cares? He was making money and that's they name of the game. And it's baseball. If your kid, or any kid becomes a drop out, or criminal because Pete Rose gambled, or A-rod took performance enhancing drugs, it just means you failed as a parent. That's all. IT's you're kid, it's your responsibility. That's it. No debate, no discussion. (Think about it). Oh yeah and leave Roger Clemens alone too.. he was just doing his job, and I HATE Clemens. Like if his plane went down, I would laugh. Yes, evil comes in all shapes and sizes and the Emperor (from Star Wars) was right, it feels good. >:)
Anything else. Oh yeah - Madonna you're a grandma. Stop it! You vein-y armed, she-male. You are not cool. You are an ugly witch who was never a good role model for young girls. She shook her tits and ass to get ahead in the world. Is that what you want your daughter to imitate? For the flip-side of that I hate Mylee Syrus too, or whatever her name is? She is terrifying, with big Muppet eyes. She has a flat face like an orangutan. But BIG EYES like one of those digitally manipulated faces for magazine ads, or in a tv commercial.
Angelina Jolie is not a role model either. What is the message she's projecting? Be gorgeous (if you think she is, I'm more of a Salma Hayek guy). Then be famous. Then be rich out' the ass! Then kiss your brother on the lips at the Oscars, and then, marry an old guy who made one good movie (Sling Blade). Then make a good looking idiot LEAVE HIS WIFE to marry you. Then adopt brown kids from different parts of the world where they have no money. You are a weirdo Angelina and I'm glad I'm having a boy you freaky big lipped gargoyle!
Michael Jackson has white kids, maybe that's the balance. Who knows, who cares?
I guess I do because I'm tired of it. I should be doing something productive, and maybe I am. We'll see.
I love exclaiming "you are the ball lickers..." from the film Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. And yes, you are the ball lickers.. haha. I'm just the asshole inches away from the licking. Ugh! So, don't bring me the self righteous nose lifting and don't give me the street talk. This is the way it is, from one person's perspective.
Inject yourself A-rod. Complain if you don't like Obama. Do IT! Hold tightly onto your jobs, how ever long you'll have it, who knows, and who cares? Just don't try to inject purity into the world of a species who still hasn't reached the next level of evolution yet.

Bad Money
The economy is in bad shape and we need to hold on tight to reach land in this ocean of dreariness. Things will work out and there will be light at the end of this tunnel.
My life has been affected by this down ward spiral and I'm pulling the rip cord before I hit the ground. I'm not panicking, just bracing for the hit.
Often when you think of a depression your memories may flash to black and white photographs of people who had nothing and survived by helping family and friends. Lighting fires in garbage cans and begging for a penny on the street to get a slice of bread, or a match to light the garbage can fire.
I don't suspect that things will get that bad. I hope not. I took a walk on my lunch break yesterday and my mind was lost to day dreaming. I imagined what would happen if there was suddenly a news bulletin, "U.S. currency is worthless.."? I'm not sure of the circumstances to bring this to fruition, however, I wondered what hell would that bring? Would every company go out of business? Would rioting in the streets start instantaneously? Would schools be overwhelmed as parents tore their children out to ensure their family's survival? Would police departments crumble? Would the government?
Would those with guns in their homes now make the rules? Would that be the end?
I'd like to believe that our friends over seas would lend a hand. Or would the United States of America just become the latest item up for bid?
That is what I thought of as I took my walk. It sent shivers up my spine.
I also watch a lot of movies and I love drama, so I'll see the credits roll in my "mind reel" and let that night mare end peacefully.
With the bail out in effect and a new President in office, I can only be optimistic and hope everything will turn out great in the end.
It's going to take time. Many have said it will get worse before it gets better.
Well, we'll see if all those animated specials really sank in about family being the most important part of the holidays.
It's going to be a simple Christmas for me and my family.
Good luck to any one reading this who was also affected by the economic orphanage fire that's happening.
My heart is with you, for my heart is all I can afford to give.
Be well. Stay safe.

Yes We Did!
Here we are on the first day of a new future for our country. Is there a lot at stake? Yes. Is there elation and illumination filling the streets of this nation? Absolutely. Will things turn around in our government by Saturday? No way Jose! If you have a brain in your skull, you get the reality of this. It is going to take time and effort to make things move forward. JUST to move forward. By that I mean just to begin the steam engine to change direction may take up to four years. If President Obama has any influence and is very persistent things may begin to move in a year or two. Where we are as a country is , well, imagine a eagle, with big beautiful wings soaring toward an open valley, full of green pastures surrounded by towering mountains....but loses it's direction and lands to rest. Somehow it gets it's claws caught in a crevasse in the bottom of a cavern. The creature is trapped, not able to pull itself out...it hears something, the sound of rushing water...as the cavern begins to fill. Then out of the darkness steps a man. He has never helped a trapped animal as powerful and as full of potential, but he reaches down... to do SOMETHING, anything, to give this majestic beautiful bird a chance to take flight again.
That is a melo-dramatic metaphor, but I don't give a hoot as that's what we need. To see the drama in this. To take note, and stand up and get ready for whatever may come.
There may even be more darkness ahead before we even see a shimmer of light at the end of this tunnel. But at least there is hope and inspiration.
If you are reading this and you are unhappy about our new leader, that's o.k., let him prove himself, I agree. You can't just be all talk, and charm. Something tells me that President Obama knows the pressure he is under. He understands the scrutiny his actions will be under by everyone, by specifically those who supported his competitor. Even the people who voted for him, many of them may disagree greatly with the choices he makes as our 44th.
I saw the live shots in Chicago, and in Harlem too. There was a gasp and then a roar of joy! There was dancing and crying, cheering and singing! Heck, Oprah was there. She was honestly hiding behind some civilians, and she looked like a little girl with tears in her eyes. And I am not a fan of Oprah.
Some of you may be like, "yeah sure, that's what a presidency is all about, dancing...give me a break...". You have to put this in perspective. One hundred and fifty years after the end of slavery, a man that would have (despite his intelligence and influence) been maybe working on a farm, or a plantation. He is a symbol of freedom. If you have ever felt pushed aside for what you look like, or because you were different in some way, our President is who you should think of. Yes, the man is brilliant academically, and the ladies love him, but he is still something to acknowledge. The beginning of hopefully a better America.
If he doesn't fulfill our "dreams" so what. He is still just a man. But by his being elected, we have shown something to the rest of the world. YES we can!
Be proud today, no matter your political path. Be proud to be an American! I know it sounds corny. But we made history. He has a lot to live up to. Give him a chance.
I want nothing more than to see this country great again!!!!
Think about it.
God bless, the United States of America! And just to be sure, keep your fingers crossed. :)

So Here We Are!
Well, it's time. Nov. 4th 2008 Election Day! Kids are off from school, many restaurants and chain food stores are offering free beverages and meals. Starbucks is offering a free cup of coffee (12oz) to anyone who says "I voted". Even if you don't drink coffee, give it to a homeless man or woman and say "here, I voted".
Never before has there been such electricity in the air over an election! O.k. there has been, but I'm talking about right here right now. This is something that will be analyzed and used as historical reference for years to come.
Some say neither candidate is worth their weight in Oreos, but I say nay. "NAY!" This is a turning point in our country's history. It also has a ripple effect with our public relations around the globe.
We need reform, and optimism! Is it going to be difficult for our new President to "change" things, or to put our "country first"? Hell yeah it is, but something is happening, right now! With a thought, and a flick of a switch (o.k. maybe a few switches...)
Then there are the idiots. I was just informed that students from the University of Chicago are being advised to stay in doors specifically if Obama does not win. The University is located near a not so safe area, and the city of Chicago wants nothing bad to happen.
Are you f-ing kidding me? Are you guys animals are what? Only lions and elephants (I'm not saying monkeys, I'm not an asshole) would run rampant in the state of anger and disappointment. That is exactly what the right-siders will point at if things don't go Obama's way. I will never understand that type of behavior! Ever!
I am sorry for Sen. Obama as his grandmother did die recently and will miss this exciting moment her grandson has brought about.
If you haven't yet, do not forget to vote, it's important that you do, even though I think there is always some under handed scheme going on if things are not in favor of a certain party's objective.
So, here we are people. At the edge of the volcano. So much on the line, so much excitement to witness. The air is thick with moca-latayes.....and a fever is air born. It makes your heart pump, and your palms sweat. It's what hopes and dreams are made of. It is an election you WILL be discussing with your grand children.
No matter the outcome, the story is a great one! Of a great country, with great people!
Hopefully with a great future!!!!!!
Be well, and be a part of it!
Oh and Zack and Miri make a Porno was hysterical!!!!

Greetings All
I'm aware that recently I blogged about Barack Obama, and a colleague said, "you spelled Barack wrong". I told him no, I didn't. Because I spell his name with power...with strength. If the "c" is added then his name is not memorable. The B-a-r-a-k as I spell it, makes you remember him. It's how I interpret his name, and the vibe I get. I'm kidding I really thought it was spelled without a "c". But the man does inspire me.
Say it with me people, BARAK Obama! I believe in him. He believes in us. At least that is what I like to believe. Inspiration goes a long way.
This country was created by a group of people inspired by a notion that "the people" can live free. A place where the people have a say. Now we all know that the government will never give us complete control, so you have to take care of your own. Uncle Sam isn't really your uncle, he just says that so you'll fork over taxes and get sentimental over soldiers sent to die for something they were told they should believe in. I am a soldier supporter, so don't get angry please.
O.k. So I spelled his name wrong. How many of you knew that? :)
My heart is in the right place, so, nah nah nah nah naaaaah! Anyway...My apologies for spelling the Sen.'s name incorrectly. If he knew I'm sure he'd pat me on the shoulder and say, "that's quite alright son...as long as you know who I am...." CAN I GET AN AMEN!!!!!!!! Haha, kidding again! I get the feeling McCain would just ask me where I've invested my money. :)
O.k., I've covered my tracks...kinda-
Happy Halloween! And Bababooey to you all!

Up Up and Away
Here we are only six days to the end of an era. Hopefully it will be the beginning of something new and fulfilling. I have slammed the right only because well, they're a little loony in my opinion, and I think the lesser of the "two evils" is really the better right now. We will see what our new Pres. has to offer in the new path this great country will take.
I will support whom ever wins and pray that the right choices are made.
Barak has been accused of socialist values with his support of the little guy. Um..well, isn't the little guy us, "bailing out" the big guys socialism??? Heck yeah it is.
O.k. so Barak served on a board with that terrorist dude. That makes him a terrorist supporter? That means if you ever meet someone, or talk to a person who has committed a crime, you too will be a criminal? What the hey!!?!?
There is not one way to help our country the pick up is going to be slow and tedious. I just don't think right now that the right will do what is "right". It's my humble opinion that we need to take care of ourselves as a nation and do what we have to. But the bailout? Really? If I or anyone I knew were in financial trouble, would Fannie Mae or any one of those companies help? Not for a second.
So again, think about where we are in our history. What we need to make this country the best it can be. It's not an easy task, but don't sell us (and yourself) short. There is nothing to be afraid of. Most distrust and aggression comes from fear. If it's Obama's name, just say so what. If it's the fact that he is a Muslim. Just say so what? He is a person that instills hope and promise to the back bone of this great country.
When big companies get tax brakes, it isn't jobs that are created. It's big bonuses for CEOs and managers. Exxon doesn't say, "oh well, we've received a billion dollar tax break..let's hire ten thousand new employees and add to the economy..." No, they give it to the top dogs as expense accounts, and vacations, and holiday checks. Do those in a higher position deserve bonuses...not with the tax break...use profits..use the owner's money. Don't bleed me for your unnecessary lush lifestyles.
We were for so long trying to see what was so great about McCain. When Obama speaks, he points out what is so great about me, my wife, my sisters, my parents, my nephews, my neighbors. The middle class, who has been dragged around for so very long finally have someone looking out for us.
So many have told me, or more warned me that I'd better be ready to apologize after Obama gets elected and ruins things. That will not happen. Sen. Barak may be the left side's poster boy, but he is different. He stood out from the rest of the candidates. That's what greatness is. You have the established "machine". Then there is one who walks to the beat of her/ his own drum. That is what makes this country great. The individuals who are just not like the rest. Who can command an audience and inspire the hearts of a country's people. Sheep do not lead the Shepard.
Come on people, let's move toward a better America!
