Well Who Cares?

The Fall is here. No more sun tan lotion, no more long days with pink and purple sun sets. No more ice cream and bikinis. No more summer block busters that don't bust anything accept the audiences wallet. No more heat (thank God). No more obnoxious teenagers acting out because they think they have what it takes to be some body! No more of the experimental reality tv shows that suck, but just for the summer.

It's time to gather your text books, and grab that syllabus. Pat little Sarah or Simon on the head and say "have a good day at school". The Fall season of all the good programming begins soon, and the sun will set earlier and earlier; so early that some people leave in darkness only to return in it.

What does time teach us? How many of us really learn from the memories of our past? Why be afraid of new ideas when the old ones have not proven effective?

I don't know a lot about a lot, but I do know that we as a species are flawed, almost defected. Now those of you angered by my perspective, I mean it as a compliment. We are not at the peak of our evolution. We have not found the perfect balance that benefits our kind and the living things around us. Give us a break. More importantly give us a chance.

Most people didn't even think about the King of Pop's legacy until he unfortunately passed way too early.

Perfection does not exist because it is an abstract concept conceived by an imperfect, learning and developing being. You can't say which side is right and which wrong, because there is always a biased based upon the effect of those sides on a personal level.

Just let the president do his best, and watch him closely (like all elected officials should be). If he makes mistakes, bad ones, kick him out. But don't be frightened by a point of view that is not the same old dusty barkings of the same dog. Give the new dog a chance.

Yeah he's black, so what? And he has friends whom have admitted to being anti-American, so what? Who cares? I'm different from how I was in college. Maybe they are too? Do you think that the officials on the right are not connected to some kind of anti-American shadies? Of course they are! Accept they are in business with them too. The right does know how to make cash, that's for sure.

I've been warned about our president's decision making from good friends, a parent, a significant other, and many others.
I've never been politically minded. Basically because I've never seen a political discussion turn out well. Accept for maybe on the Daily Show, or on the Steve Colbert Report. But that's just rhetoric. I think.... wait a minute. "Think!" That's it. People need to think. Use your heads for God sake and work things out for yourselves!
If our current chief messes up badly, well then off with his head. But what is all the fuss about?
No one was terrified when our last leader (of the FREE world) told us we would have to pay more for nothing, and said there were bombs and there weren't. Ooops was all anyone would offer as an answer.

It's a black guy who is half white. There, wipe your brow. And for all the people of color who did vote JUST because he's black, well, you're just dummies. Like dumb like the pigs who are led to slaughter. Just like all the right-wings who want to see our president fail just to rub it in the noses of the lefts. Like dumb-fat pigs, Mr. Limbaugh.

We don't want to think anymore as a nation. We want to be led. Like sheep! So if all doesn't end in 2012, and we are still forging ahead toward a brighter future, then I'll put on my sun glasses and grab a shovel. Because a pile a shiny shit is still just a pile of shit.

Who thinks that any one president will change everything? Ding-dong you're wrong!

And really who cares?
